Watch the buyers bidding for fish on a traditional shout auction
Learn about 40+ species of fish
Experience the sights and sounds of the traditional Newlyn Fish Market           

8am – Breakfast in the Fisherman’s Mission
Enjoy a traditional fishermans breakfast

8.45am – Interactive Presentation in the CFRC
(Cornwall Fisheries Resource Centre)
Learn how fish are caught, fishing methods used today
Where fishing boats go to catch their fish
What species are caught off the South West

10am – Tour of Newlyn Harbour
See Newlyn Harbour and the vessels used for fishing

10.30am – Visit to W Harvey and Son’s Shellfish Tanks
Learn about brown crab, spider crab, lobster and crayfish

10.45am – Plenary Session
Ask questions and pick up recipe ideas

Finish 11am
