Sea Safaris

Offering tailor-made programmes for your day and even better; whilst you are having a fun day out you will also be supporting the charity work with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Specialised Charters Cornwall
Specialised Charters on Obsession provide trips for fishing, photography or sightseeing. It operates on the Lizard Peninsula and in the Falmouth Bay area. The boat can accommodate a maximum of 2 passengers, so personal attention from the skipper is assured at all times.
Kids Activities with Elemental UK
Based near the hotel at Swanpool beach. Kids get to try a range of activities from dinghy sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, raft building, beach games, coasteering and lots more. With highly qualified staff, an enviable safety record, and an array of state-of-the-art equipment. Their aim is to nurture the skills and confidence of children in a safe, fun and educational environment. We can arrange for your children to spend a half (£15) or full day (£33 includes a packed lunch) with Elemental UK. Bookable on arrival or during your stay.
Sea/Shark Fishing
For all your Shark, Wreck and Reef Fishing from Newquay on the North Cornish Coast, Mystique is a Lochin 33 powered by a 430hp Volvo and is licenced and insured for 12 passengers up to 60 miles offshore, whether you are an experienced angler or a complete beginner Wayne will work his hardest to give you a good trip on Mystique. Prices start from £20pp for 4 hours deep sea fishing all rods bait tackle and tuition included. Also available for private charters, coastal cruises etc prices on request. St Michaels Hotel will organise this for you, just ask at reception during your stay.
Diving in and around Falmouth
Falmouth is a great base for diving, Falmouth Bay contains many wrecks, including the remains of five German UBoats. Charter boats for diving are available
in Falmouth, contact one of the local dive companies for more details. Falmouth Underwater Centre -Maenporth Beach 10 minutes drive from the hotel offer
every facility
Cornish Diving Services are the closest to the hotel, on Bar Road, and offer equipment, air, advice and local knowledge.
Seaways Diving and Marine are located on the road into Falmouth about 2 miles from the hotel and offer day trips.
