Saturday 19 May sees the arrival of the Olympic Torch in the UK as it starts the final leg of it's journey. The flame will stop in Falmouth in the morning and the town will be celebrating this historic moment with a day long programme of activities and highlights making Falmouth a great place to watch the Olympic Torch.
Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival - 15 - 17 June 2012

This fantastic 10 day festival is a not-for-profit community festival which encompasses over 150 events varying from music & drama, the arts & heritage to gig racing, swimming, walking & lots more.
J Class Regatta - 26 - 30 June 2012
Spectators in Falmouth will be the first in the UK to view this wonderful fleet of six J Class yachts, each 140 feet in length, weighing around 300 tons and with a crew of up to 30.
Pendennis Cup - 2 - 7 July 2012
This will be the third year of the Pendennis Cup in Falmouth and with over 14 luxury super yachts confirmed to race, it will be another spectacular event.

Falmouth Oyster Festival has become acknowledged as a must travel to event by many visitors and holiday makers from all over the country. Timed to coincide with the start of the oyster harvesting season in October, the festival celebrates the quality of Cornish seafood and one of the last remaining oyster fisheries still dredging under sail and oar.
