Stage 8 - Steps for the Future

We have recently been awarded a silver grading from the Green Tourism Business Scheme, which has helped us define our targets and provided us with a guide to work to. This scheme pushes us to address our energy strategies, waste programmes, food sourcing, question the products we use and consider our place as part of a local economy.

We have also become members of the CoAST network and the Future Footsteps Program. This also provides us with ideas and suggestions and helps us keep in contact with other businesses which are committed to the same ends.

It is the aim of St Michael’s Hotel and Spa to continue along this route, and by forging links with other organizations develop sustainable tourism in the southwest.
