Terms and Conditions for Corporate Bookings
Please ensure that you carefully read through the terms and conditions which apply to your event here at St. Michael’s Hotel & Spa
Bookings
The Hotel will consider a bedroom or function room booking as confirmed when a letter/email of confirmation and/or a signed contract and/or deposit/full payment has been received. When finalising a contract, approximate numbers should be advised and confirmed in writing along with agreed prices. Any drop in numbers of more than 10% may result in cancellation charges being applied. Furthermore, under such circumstances the hotel reserves the right to re-allocate the room booked. The Hotel requests that the final number of attendees is confirmed a minimum of 48 hours prior to the function.
Deposit
Bookings in excess of £1500.00 in value, will be required to pay a deposit of 20% at the time of confirmation. Full payment in advance may be required if the booking for the event is made within 31 days of the event taking place.
Day Delegate
Rate is deemed to include tea/coffee on arrival and two breaks for tea/coffee including biscuits, two course hot/cold buffet (cakes and pastries etc as applicable), room hire and equipment as detailed on the booking contract.
Cancellations
The hotel reserves the right to charge the following sums for any loss of income due to cancellation, non-arrival or substantial reduction in the numbers confirmed.

% charge is based on the Total anticipated charges
Loss or Damage
Please note that the hotel cannot be held responsible for equipment brought into the hotel and this will remain the responsibility of the client. The client is also deemed responsible for any loss or damage to hotel property which occurs during the hire period.
Accommodation
Where individuals or groups have booked bedrooms, standard cancellation Terms and Conditions apply.
Account Facilities
Account facilities will only be granted to those companies or individuals which have established credit facilities in advance. Companies requiring credit facilities will need to apply to open an account at least 30 days in advance of the event taking place.
Payment
Where credit facilities are not available or approved, the Hotel will ask for payment in advance for all pre-booked items. Payment is required for all pre-booked and anticipated services at least two weeks in advance of the event taking place. If this is not received, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the function with no further notice. Any extras should be settled on the day prior to departure. The client agrees to pay the Hotel for any food, beverage or other services not provided for in this Contract but made available upon request of the Client.
