Healthy Heart Menu

Introduced to the St Michaels kitchens, working along side the spa to promote the healthier side of life. All dishes are prepared using natural and flavoursome alternatives to traditional cooking ingredients. Virgin olive or canola oils rather than butters or traditional cooking oils which are high in saturated fats, creams will be replaced with yoghurts and crème fraiche, traditional flours which are high in gluten will be replaced with rice flour and potato starch.

Our aim is to deliver wonderfully tasty food that puts a spring in your step and is good for you and your heart.


To Start

Freshly prepared soup of the day Served with toasted granary seed bread

Poached fillet of salmon Shredded cucumber, fresh mint and spring onion, chiffonade of baby gem lettuce with natural yoghurt


Main Courses

Char grilled chicken fillets
Baked in a fresh tomato sauce, fresh basil, olives, red onion, timbale of saffron rice

Ratatouille filled baked red pepper
Vegetable quineo, hot tomato salsa, crisp rocket and baby spinach

Baked apple filled with stewed bramble fruits
Warm raspberry puree, crème fraiche
