Christmas in Cornwall and New Year in Cornwall
Last year (2008) our Christmas and New Year breaks were booked up very early and a full hotel of guests were rewarded with our best ever seasonal programme. You told us so in the wonderful feedback we received and fabulous results from our Customer Satisfaction Questionnaires.
Now, we have to go one better for 2009/10!
As ever, we have put together a full programme, covering Christmas, New Year and festive bargain breaks… before, after and in between.
We strive to offer the warmest hospitality, great attention to detail, some of the best food in the South West, lots of Spa relaxation, wonderful entertainment and plenty of sea air!
Most of our festive menus are already planned,featuring top quality, creative dishes utilising the very best of fresh, Cornish produce. We have included some of the menus later on in this brochure.
Entertainment will include carols with our favourite Cornish brass band, musicians, quizzes, games, treasure hunts, Boxing Night Quiz and dance, with the crowning glory of our New Years Eve Ball featuring a live band and disco on the theme of ‘Gangsters & Molls’!
The Spa facilities will be open throughout for you to refresh, relax and unwind. Enjoy our large heated pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room but do book in advance for your spa treatments.
At the end of our garden, the sandy ‘Blue Flag’ beach beckons! Even in the depths of Winter it is essential to wiggle your toes in the sand and perhaps build a sandcastle! Look out to sea as you walk along the miles of Cornish coastal path, which starts a ‘stones throw’ from our door. There is a lot to do in Cornwall during the Winter when the beaches are deserted.
Of course, you may just prefer to watch the sea from our lounge or curl up by the fire with a good book!

Christmas & New Year Programme 2009/10
All of our Christmas & New Year breaks include your accommodation, full English breakfast and dinner in our AA Rosette award winning restaurant. Use of all of our spa facilities including the large heated swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room as well as the fitness suite is included in your stay. Spa treatments are best booked well in advance of your stay to avoid disappointment.

Boxing Day 26th December

• Aqua aerobics in the pool in the morning for those who want to work off yesterday’s Christmas pud! ALL welcome
• Boxing Day Treasure Hunt - fun for all the family which takes you to some interesting and scenic locations! Results and prizes announced during the evening entertainment
• Christmas pantomime at The Hall for Cornwall in Truro. Great for young and old alike! Pre reserve tickets at a small supplement when you book your Christmas break
• Canapés and nibbles in the bar before our Boxing Day dinner and entertainment
