Wedding Terms and Conditions

Please ensure that you carefully read through the terms and conditions which will apply to your Wedding here at St. Michael’s Hotel & Spa.

Bookings
A wedding function is only deemed confirmed by the hotel on receipt of written confirmation and receipt of initial non-refundable deposit of £1000. Where the event is within 30 days of the booking both confirmation and full payment of the anticipated costs is to be made. Written confirmation must include minimum numbers with an agreed price per head.

Charges
The prices charged for your wedding will be agreed at the time of your confirmation. Please note that there are minimum charges which apply at certain times throughout the year, including most weekends. At the time of your confirmation a minimum charge level for your wedding will be agreed and will apply should there be a significant reduction in numbers or services.

Payment
In addition to the confirmation deposit of £1000 a further non-refundable payment of 50% of the total anticipated cost will be required 6 months prior to the event. The anticipated cost is based on the approximate numbers. Final payment is required with confirmation of final numbers 30 days prior to the event.

Cancellations
Any cancellation must be made in writing. All deposits are non-refundable and in the event of a booking being cancelled the Hotel will retain the deposit and additionally the following charges may be applied:-

Insurance
We suggest that you take out wedding insurance to protect you from cancellation charges and would be pleased to provide you with some insurance company contacts.

Rooms
Where individuals or groups have booked accommodation, standard cancellation Terms and Conditions apply. All rooms must be booked through our Reservations Team.

Beverages
We are unable to offer corkage.

Etiqette
A Wedding Reception held on a Saturday will need to be seated no later than 4pm.

The Function bar will close at midnight for all guests. Residents staying in the hotel may use one of our other bars after this time.

The Hotel reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of music or behavior of the client, guest or representative and the client must take all steps necessary for corrective action should this be necessary. In the event of failure to comply with management requests, the Hotel reserves the right to terminate the contract or stop the event without being liable for any refund or compensation.

Additional Expenses
The client agrees to pay the Hotel for any food, beverage or other services not provided for in the Contract but made available upon request of the Client. Please do not hesitate in contacting us should you have any queries with the above terms and conditions. We will require a signed copy of these Terms and Conditions which will form part of your contract with us.
