Clash of Knights at Pendennis
Stretch those legs with a stroll along the seafront, breath in the sea air and head for the unmissable sight of Pendennis Castle perched on its headland and watching over Falmouth Bay. Built over 450 years ago by Henry VIII the granite stronghold sits opposite its sister castle in St Mawes making a powerful defence for the entrance to Falmouth harbour.
Chain-mailed and adrenalin-fuelled, massed ranks of armoured knights meet head on. Feel the heat of the battle as four teams fight with clubs and shields in this contest of skill and strength. Enjoy merry music while your budding young knights test their bravery on the field and burn off energy in battle drills.
