From London

By Train

Choose the First Great Western from Paddington to Falmouth Town serivce, changing at Truro. We have negotiated some exclusive ticket prices for you on both first and second class fares with First Great Western Trains, available from stations between Paddington and Falmouth Town.  When you book your accommodation, ask us for a rail quote and we’ll do the rest – we’re on 01326 312707.

By Car

Follow the signs for The South West on the M4 and M5 taking junction 31 just past Exeter onto the A30. Follow the A30 to Carland Cross roundabout and follow the signs for Truro on the A39. From there, follow the signs for Falmouth. As you get into Falmouth, follow the brown signs for The Beaches and you’ll find St Michaels Hotel opposite Gyllyngvase beach. Follow Stracey Road around from the beach and our entrance is on the right.

Alternatively if you live to the south of London or near the M3/A303, follow the M3 to the A303 and merge onto the A30 and then onto the M5. Take junction 31 just past Exeter onto the A30. Follow the A30 to Carland Cross roundabout and follow the signs for Truro on the A39. From there follow the signs for Falmouth and see above directions.

From Plymouth

By Train

You can catch both First Great Western trains and Crosscountry trains from Plymouth to Truro where you change to the Falmouth branchline. Our nearest station is Falmouth Town, a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

By Car

Follow the A38 to Carkeel roundabout, stay on the A38 and go through the next two roundabouts. Merge onto the A30 ramp to Newquay and Redruth and at the next roundabout take the second exit to the A39. Follow the signs for Truro and then for Falmouth. As you get into Falmouth, follow the brown signs for The Beaches and you’ll find St Michaels Hotel opposite Gyllyngvase beach. Follow Stracey Road around from the beach and our entrance is on the right.

From Newquay

By Car

Follow the signs for St Columb Major and join the A39. From there, join the A30 at Carland Cross roundabout. Follow the signs for Truro and then Falmouth. As you get into Falmouth, follow the brown signs for The Beaches and you’ll find St Michaels Hotel opposite Gyllyngvase beach. Follow Stracey Road around from the beach and our entrance is on the right.

From Truro

By Train

From Truro Railway Station, catch the Falmouth branch line at platform 3. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office or on the train from the conductor. Our closest station is Falmouth Town, a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The journey lasts about 22 minutes according to our watches!

By Car

Follow the A39 from Truro to Falmouth. As you get into Falmouth, follow the brown signs for The Beaches and you’ll find St Michaels Hotel opposite Gyllyngvase beach. Follow Stracey Road around from the beach and our entrance is on the right.

To Falmouth by other ways of transport

by Yacht

Based in the sheltered waters of the inner harbour, Falmouth Haven lies to the south west. It is a perfect location for visiting yachts and provides a safe port in almost all wind and weather.

Choose from a marina berth, standard visitor’s mooring or one of their innovative new Premium Moorings. The spot is a stone’s throw from Falmouth’s pubs, restaurants and shops and just a gentle 15 minute stroll to the hotel. You can contact them on 01326 310990.
