Explore Gyllyngvase beach, just metres from your door. The ultimate spot for couples, friends and families to explore, whatever the time of year you visit.
It’s the feeling of sand between your toes
We’re lucky enough to have the golden sands of Gyllyngvase beach just steps from us. Be it secluded beach snoozing in summer, braving yourself for a wild swim in autumn, searching rock pools in spring or following the scent of the sea along the coast path in winter – the seasons here just can’t be beaten.
Hopefully our Into The Blue board on Pinterest might inspire you. Gylly Adventures offers paddle boarding, coasteering, climbing, snorkelling and kayaking if you’re feeling intrepid. Plus we can offer exclusive rates to our guests – just ask Isobel and the reception team when you arrive. We’re huge fans of SUPing (the cool little brother of surfing) so we’ve written a blog all about splashing around. We’d love you to share your thrill seeker pics with us too – just tweet or Instagram using #adventure to @stmichaelshotel.
LOOKING to LAZE AWAY?
If you’re on the hunt for a more chilled-out affair, Gyllyngvase promises hazy horizons and drawn out days. It’s also a hub for those with a sweet tooth – from scoffing ice creams and pastries to sipping hot chocolates and frothy lattes. Our local beach guide should help, so you can spend more time in the sun and less time looking at a map. And don’t forget your binoculars, as you’ll spot Pendennis Castle in the distance and dolphins in the summer months.
