Our Health Club caters to the fitness fanatics with studio classes including Spin and Aqua. Or use this time to relax at our Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Experience Showers.
With the sea at its disposal Cornwall makes the most of outdoor water activities from paddle boarding to sailing for the more adventurous among us. It’s the perfect place to try something new with water sport lessons and experiences from WeSUP and Gylly Adventures at Gyllyngvase Beach across the road.
St Michaels Activities
St Michaels Health Club Studio Classes: Book into one of over 85 Instructor Led Classes each week in one of our three dedicated Studios. Classes include Spin, Gig Rowing, Yoga, Aqua and a range from the popular Les Mills brand.
Swimming: Relax in St Michael’s luxurious 17m Indoor Pool. The pool also offers a Sauna, Steam Room and Experience Showers. Please check for any restrictions due to classes, or for children’s swim times.
Gyllyngvase Beach: With Gyllyngvase Beach opposite the hotel, you can enjoy numerous activities including Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, or a relaxing Picnic (our Chef’s can prepare something for you, if ordered in advance).
Runs: The St Michaels Health Club offers organised Beach and Town Runs at selected times throughout the week.
Paddle Boarding: We can arrange for you to rent a board, join a tour of the Helford River (which visits local pubs) or take lessons at nearby beaches.
Kayaking: You can rent a kayak from many of the local beaches.
Bicycles: The nearby Bissoe Trail links the south and north coast and is a great way to explore Cornwall’s Tin Mining Heritage. Bike rental can be arranged for all the family.
Coasteering: A great sea and land activity for those looking for the ultimate outdoor challenge.
Sailing: We can arrange lessons and days out from a number of local Sailing Academies.
Walking: The South West Coastal Path offers some of the best walks in the country. We can provide maps and guides to these walks and many more.
Out and About
Foot Ferry: The local Falmouth Ferries connect you to St Mawes, The Helford River, Truro and Flushing.
Poldark Tours: A popular way to explore the settings for this famous TV Series.
Flambards: This busy theme park near Helston is popular with all the family.
Healey’s Cornish Cyder Farm: Explore a working cider farm, with plenty to keep all the family entertained.
